Rashida Coleman- Hale- -Papercuts shape up sunshine

Paper Cuts is inspired by the Japanese festival Tanabata, also known as the Star Festival, and the art of Kirigami, a type of origami that involves the cutting of paper to create beautiful and intricate shapes. All but two prints are printed on unbleached fabric to create the natural warmth of vintage paper.

Cotton+Steel,is a new division of RJR Fabrics. This company of designers includes Melody Miller,Rashida Coleman-Hale, Alexia Abegg, Kim Kight, and Sarah Watts. As a young company, Cotton+Steel hopes to honor the traditions of creativity, resourcefulness, and innovation inherent in the sewing and quilting world.
